Dog Found In House Fire Given Oxygen With Special Pet Mask
A dog suffering from smoke inhalation due to a house fire in Chillum was rejuvenated with oxygen through a special pet mask that EMTs had.

CHILLUM, MD — A fire broke out Tuesday at a home in Chillum, causing the family dog to inhale too much harmful smoke.
The fire broke out at the home located in the 6200 block of 20th Avenue. Emergency crews found the dog who had been rescued from the home and was showing signs of smoke inhalation.
So the Chillum paramedics and Hyattsville EMTs used a special pet oxygen mask to help revive the struggling dog.

"This is the second time this year crews have utilized this specialized equipment. The pup recovered on scene and was happily reunited with his family," according to the Prince George's County Fire and Rescue Department.
