Dogs Can Dress Up For Howl-A-Ween Event That Doubles As Pet Supply Drive

Dress your dog up for the Howl-A-Ween event and donate pet supplies to help support Bowie Animal Control.

BOWIE, MD — The “Pup-kin Patch” returns to the Bowie Dog Park Oct. 24 from 4 to 6 p.m.

The event not only celebrates Howl-A-Ween with furry friends, but also collects pet-related items to be donated to Bowie Animal Control to help dogs temporarily housed there while their owners are tracked down. Items needed include pet food, blankets, leashes, collars and toys.

Dog food donations can be dropped off anytime at the Bowie Gym's donation bin.

"Bring your pup, your costume and your generosity — and let’s make tails wag all over Bowie," the city stated.
