SUITLAND, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal crash that happened last weekend in Suitland around 9:20 p.m.Prince George's police officers were called to the 5900 block of Allentown Road for a report of a single-vehicle crash July 26. They found the driver dead. The preliminary investigation indicates the driver was traveling southbound on Allentown Road when for reasons still under investigation, he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a fence, according to the Prince George's Police Department. The man was not originally identified so police could notify family members. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit at 301-731-4422, contact Crime Solvers online at www.pgcrimesolvers.com, the "P3 Tips" mobile app (search "P3 Tips" in the Apple Store or Google Play to download the app onto a mobile device), or call 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).
