Ft. Washington Suspect Charged In Fatal Shooting Of Glenarden Man
A 23-year-old Fort Washington man has been charged in connection to the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old Glenarden man, police say.
FORT WASHINGTON, MD — A 23-year-old Fort Washington man has been charged in connection to the murder of 21-year-old Corenlius Wilson of Glenarden.
On May 19 at approximately 12:20 a.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 2800 block of Wood Hollow Terrace for a report of a shooting. Officers located Wilson outside with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene, according to the Prince George's police department.
During their investigation, detectives identified 23-year-old Tafari Clauzel of Fort Washington as the suspect. The preliminary investigation revealed the men each other and were involved in an ongoing dispute, the police department stated.

Clauzel has been charged with first-degree murder and related charges. He is in custody in Broward County, Florida, on unrelated charges pending extradition to Prince George’s County.
