HYATTSVILLE, MD — Police have arrested a man in connection with a fatal shooting in Hyattsville earlier this month. Police were called to the 4600 block of Burlington Road at around 3:40 a.m. Aug. 1 to a report of a shooting, and found 38-year-old Dante Campbell suffering from <a href="http://pgpolice.blogspot.com/2019/08/detectives-arrest-man-in-connection.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">gunshots wounds outside of a home</a>, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department. He died at the hospital a short time later. Police have arrested 38-year-old Dereck Vaughn Clark of Southeast D.C. They believe that Vaughn-Clark and Campbell were acquaintances who had gotten into an argument, the report states.
