Man Shot During Argument With Friend: Police

A Largo man has been charged with murder after Prince George's Police say he shot his friend during an argument.

HYATTSVILLE, MD — A Largo man faces charges after police say he shot and killed a Clinton man.

On July 6 at approximately 1 a.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 7500 block of Allendale Drive for a report of shooting. They found 21-year-old J’len Livingston of Clinton with gunshot wounds. He died from his injuries a short time after arriving at a hospital, police reported.

Detectives identified 21-year-old Damarion Jones of Largo as the suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest. The preliminary investigation revealed he shot Livingston during an argument. The suspect and victim knew to each other, police reported.

The PGPD’s Fugitive Unit located and arrested Jones who has been charged with first- and second-degree murder and additional charges. He is in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.
