Man Falls To Death From Roof Of Long Island Home On Holiday Weekend: Cops
He was brought to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, Nassau police say.
LONG ISLAND, NY — A man fell to his death from the roof of a home on Long Island Saturday afternoon, Nassau police said.
At around 1 p.m., village police responded to a home on Maple Avenue in Lynbrook for a report of a man who fell from a roof, and when they arrived they found a 47-year-old man lying on the ground with severe head trauma, according to a news release.
It was determined he fell from the roof of the two-story home after losing his footing, and he was taken to a local nearby hospital for treatment and was pronounced dead by a hospital physician, police said.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration was notified, and the investigation is ongoing, according to police.
