Hughesville Man Killed After Vehicle Veers Off Road, Lands In Resident's Yard
A Hughesville man died after his vehicle left the road and ended up in a resident's yard, according to Prince George's Police.
BRANDYWINE, MD — The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit has launched an investigation into a fatal crash that happened in Brandywine Friday night.
On July 4 at approximately 7 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 15500 block of Brandywine Road for a single-vehicle crash. They found the driver, 48-year-old Gregory Wilson of Hughesville, who was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later.
The preliminary investigation revealed Wilson was traveling eastbound on Brandywine Road when, for reasons now being investigated, his vehicle left the road and came to rest in a front yard.
