Upper Marlboro Man Fatally Hit By 2 Vehicles That Fled The Scene In Seat Pleasant

Prince George's Police are searching for the drivers of the two vehicles that fatally hit an Upper Marlboro man in Seat Pleasant.

SEAT PLEASANT, MD — A 25-year-old Upper Marlboro man has died after being hit by two vehicles that fled the scene, police say.

On July 26 around 9:45 p.m., Seat Pleasant police officers were called to the 9000 block of Central Avenue for a report of a pedestrian-vehicle collision. They found 25-year-old Antone Brooks of Upper Marlboro in the road. He was taken to the hospital where he died the next day, police said.

The Prince George's Police Department assumed the investigation, which indicates Brooks was hit by two vehicles driving in the eastbound lanes of Central Avenue. Neither driver stopped. One of the vehicles involved has been described as a white compact sedan.
