CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD — A man faces first degree murder charges after police say he fatally shot his girlfriend's estranged husband during an argument in Capitol Heights. Police were called to the <a href="http://pgpolice.blogspot.com/2019/08/detectives-arrest-man-in-domestic.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">5800 block of Folgate Court</a> at around 6:50 p.m. on Aug. 13 to a report of a shooting, and they found the victim -- 31-year-old Donte Young of Waldorf -- suffering from gunshot wounds, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. "The preliminary investigation reveals Odemns fatally shot the victim during an argument. The victim and Odemns' girlfriend are estranged spouses," the report states. Odemns, who faces first degree murder and related charges, is being held without bond, police say.
