MARC, Metro Delays Snarl Morning Commutes
Disabled trains and signal troubles created delays on the MARC Penn Line and Metro's Red Line.

Delays on the MARC train and Metro led to a challenging commute for many workers Thursday morning.
A disabled train and delays in getting replacement equipment led to the cancellation of at least one early morning train. There were delays of as much as 30 minutes for both north and southbound trains on the Penn Line.
Meanwhile, Metro's Red Line was also delayed due to a signal problem and disabled train near Fort Totten, the Washington Post reported on its website.
