Maryland Weather Forecast: Standard Fall Monday Before Another Blast of Cold

After a typical fall day Monday, we'll see much cooler temperatures by mid-week, with lows in the 30s and some in the region waking up to patchy frost on at least one morning.

The week starts with a windy Monday: gusts could reach as high as 23 mph. The high Monday will be 65 degrees, but we won't get out of the mid 50s for most of the week.

The forecast Tuesday night and Wednesday morning calls for patchy frost for parts of the region.

A chance of showers is in the forecast Thursday, before skies clear and temperatures warm slightly for the weekend.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 49. Southwest wind 7 to 11 mph.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 65. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 40. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 58. Northwest wind 8 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Tuesday Night: Patchy frost after 2am. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 35. Northwest wind 3 to 6 mph.

Wednesday: Patchy frost before 8am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 53.

Thursday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 56. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 61.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 62.
