HYATTSVILLE, MD — Metro Transit Police stopped a man who tried to exit the Hyattsville Metro station without paying his fare, and they found a loaded handgun on him after arresting him, police say. An officer saw 23-year-old Luis William Matos try to exit the station at around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, MTP tweeted.
