Police Find Gun On Man Who Skipped Fare In PG County: Police
A man who was caught skipping the fare in a Prince George's County Metro station had a gun on him, police say.

HYATTSVILLE, MD — Metro Transit Police stopped a man who tried to exit the Hyattsville Metro station without paying his fare, and they found a loaded handgun on him after arresting him, police say.
An officer saw 23-year-old Luis William Matos try to exit the station at around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, MTP tweeted.
Matos tried to flee when the officer approached, but was taken into custody, police said, adding that they found a .40-caliber handgun on him that was fully loaded with a round in the chamber.
