LANGLEY PARK, MD — Police say a man was found dead in Langley Park over the weekend, and they are investigating. Police were called to the <a href="http://pgpolice.blogspot.com/2019/09/pgpd-investigates-homicide-in-langley.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">1400 block of Kanawha Street</a> at around 6 a.m. on Sept. 7 for a welfare check, and they found 23-year-old Fernando Cortez Sanchez suffering from trauma to the upper body, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are trying to identify a suspect and motive, and have asked anyone with information to contact them.
