Police Seek Tips About Fatal Crash On Labor Day
The Prince George's Police Department is asking anyone with information about a fatal crash that happened Labor Day to contact them.
BELTSVILLE, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal crash that happened Labor Day.
Prince George's police officers were called to the area of Powder Mill Road and Cherry Hill Road for a report of a single vehicle crash on Sept. 1 around 9:55 p.m. Officers found the victim, who has not yet been identified by police, in the vehicle with trauma. The driver died at the scene, according to police.
The preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was heading southbound on Powder Mill Road, when for reasons now under investigation, the vehicle left the road and hit a utility pole.
