Pooch Plunge Returns To Greenbelt
The Pooch Plunge returns to Greenbelt this fall with enough space in the swimming pool for 50 dogs on a first-come, first-served basis.
GREENBELT, MD — The Pooch Plunge will return to Greenbelt for 2025.
Hosted by the city of Greenbelt's animal shelter, the Pooch Plunge will be held at the Greenbelt Aquatic and Fitness Center in the outdoor pool at 101 Centerway in Greenbelt on Oct. 4 from noon to 2 p.m.
The entry fee will be $10 per dog and must be exact cash only the shelter stated. Handlers must be 18 years or older and only one dog per handler. Handlers will not be allowed in the pool and swimming with the dogs won't be allowed.

Each dog must have proof of current rabies vaccination to enter; a rabies tag will not suffice, organizers said.
Only 50 dogs will be allowed at the event on a first-come, first-served basis.
