Resident Seriously Injured In Bowie House Fire

A Bowie resident was seriously injured Friday evening in a house fire that broke out in the 12400 block of Starlight Lane.

Crews extinguished the fire at a Bowie home Friday. One resident was taken to the hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries, according to the Prince George's County Fire and Rescue Department.

BOWIE, MD — Friday shortly after 5:30 p.m., a fire broke out at a two-story single family home in Bowie that seriously injured a resident.

The house, located in the 12400 block of Starlight Lane, had flames showing when firefighters arrived. Crews extinguished the flames and one resident was taken to the hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries, according to the Prince George's County Fire and Rescue Department.

Officials will continue to investigate the fire.
