Student Showering Recorded By Voyeur In UMD Dorm Bathroom
A male student showering in a community bathroom of his dorm at the University of Maryland told police someone was recording him.
COLLEGE PARK, MD — Campus police are searching for a person involved in the recording of a student taking a shower.
A male student told police he was in the shower in a community bathroom on the third floor of Dorchester Hall at the University of Maryland Sept. 15 around 10:47 p.m. when he saw an arm stretch over the top of the shower curtain, holding a cell phone with a camera lens pointed toward him, according to UMD Police.
The student opened the curtain, but the suspect had already left. Police officers searched for witnesses and continue to investigate the incident, the police department stated.
