Suspect Arrested In Teen's 2023 Fatal Shooting In Clinton

CLINTON, MD — A suspect has been charged in connection to a fatal shooting that happened in August 2023.

Prince George's police officers were called to a gas station in the 9800 block of Piscataway Road for a report of a shooting on Aug. 12, 2023, around 2:40 a.m. They found 16-year-old Robert Isiah Walker of Clinton inside a business with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

An investigation led police to charge 18-year-old Stephon Johnson of District Heights with first- and second-degree murder and related charges. He is in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status. The motive for the shooting remains under investigation, the police department stated.
