Suspect Sought in Six Armed Robberies in Prince George's County

The same unidentified man is sought in other armed robberies, including a holdup at an Alexandria 7-Eleven Wednesday morning.

BOWIE, MD — Prince George's County Police believe that a single suspect could be responsible for six armed robberies in the past week in the county. The loot in each case was money and cigarettes.

The businesses involved include five 7-Eleven locations and a Dunkin' Donuts. There were additional robberies in neighboring jurisdictions that are preliminarily linked to the same suspect, including a robbery at an Alexandria, Virginia, 7-Eleven on Wednesday morning.

The subject is described as an African American male, approximately 18-24 years old, 5’6” and around 130 pounds. He has worn black Adidas pants and used a black revolver style handgun during the robberies, according to a police statement.

No injuries have been reported in the robberies.

  • 7-Eleven: December 21st, around 2:00 am, in the 7700 block of Finns Lane in Lanham
  • 7-Eleven: December 21st, around 2:45 am, in the 7400 block of Laurel Bowie Road in Bowie
  • Dunkin’ Donuts: December 21st, around 9:40 pm, in the 4700 block of Allentown Road in Morningside
  • 7-Eleven: December 23rd, around 2:20 am in the 10500 block of Baltimore Avenue in Beltsville
  • 7-Eleven: December 24th, around 4:00 am, in the 3400 block of Dallas Drive in Temple Hills
  • 7-Eleven: December 28th, around 2:15 am, in the 9800 block of Piscataway Road in Clinton

The suspect is believed to be driving a silver, newer-model Chrysler 300.
