PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A grand jury has indicted suspended Prince George's County Police Lt. Richard Tallant on a charge of second degree sex offense based on an incident that happened two years ago, police say.
Tallant has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman he knew while off duty and attending a social outing in Upper Marlboro in February 2017, according to a report from PGPD.
His police powers were suspended in April 2019 when the department learned of the allegations, the report states.
