UMD's Kirwan Hall Evacuated After Suspicious Package Report
The suspicious packages at Kirwan Hall were deemed safe by authorities.

COLLEGE PARK, MD — The University of Maryland's Kirwan Hall has been reopened after a brief scare involving suspicious packages on Thursday.
The Prince George's County Fire Department tweeted at 1:09 p.m. that they had responded to Kirwan Hall -- also known as the Mathematics Building -- to investigate the report of a suspicious package.
Packages were deemed safe and police reopened campus buildings and roadways in the area.
