WATCH: Little Big Town's Kimberly Schlapman Goes Undercover as Supermarket Cashier
Disguised as a SHOPPERS employee, the country singer surprised customers with free gift cards.

Unsuspecting shoppers got quite the surprise when a Grammy Award winning country star showed up at their local grocery store.
Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schlapman dressed incognito and handed out $100 gift cards to customers at SHOPPERS supermarket in College Park, Maryland.
“It’s my first day, I’m not very good at this,” Schlapman played along as consumers came through the checkout line.

For the most part she was able to hide her identity by pulling her hair back and wearing a pair of glasses.
“You’re a country singer, aren’t you?” One shopper asked when approached by Schlapman.

Little Big Town won their first Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance with the hit song ‘Pontoon’.
Schlapman partnered with Smithfield Foods to give back to needy families this holiday season.
Every time someone uses the hashtag #LendAHam on Twitter or on the Smithfield Facebook page, the company known for their holiday hams will donate one serving of protein to a local food bank. Users can participate up until Dec. 24 and Smithfield will provide up to one million servings.
