Woman Driving ATV Hit, Killed By Vehicle In Oxon Hill
A Washington, D.C., woman driving an ATV was killed after she was hit by a vehicle in Oxon Hill, according to police.
OXON HILL, MD — Police are investigating a fatal collision involving an ATV that happened Friday night in Oxon Hill.
On June 6 around 10:20 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the intersection of Livingston Road and Crisfield Drive for a report of a crash. They found 31-year-old Trinh Viet Tran of Washington, D.C., with critical injuries. She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later, according to the police department.
The preliminary investigation indicates that Tran was riding the ATV southbound along Livingston Road, when for reasons now being investigated, her ATV and a car collided in the intersection. The driver of the car was uninjured and remained at the scene, the police department reported.
