Woman Killed 82-Year-Old Neighbor With A Brick: PGPD

BLADENSBURG, MD — A 73-year-old woman has been arrested after police say she murdered her 82-year-old neighbor with a brick.

Chun Yong Oh is accused of killing Hwa Cha Pak in the 5900 block of Emerson Street, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department. Police say they responded to that address at around 7:15 a.m. on Sept. 8 for a welfare check and found Pak suffering from trauma to her upper body in a garden in the back of the building.

"The preliminary investigation reveals Oh and the victim had been in a dispute prior to the murder," the report states. "Oh struck the victim multiple times with a brick. Oh then called 911 to report the murder."

Oh faces charges of first and second degree murder, and she is being held without bond.
