Woman Accused Of Killing Grandmother Sought By Police
Prince George's County police are searching for Breante Thomas, 28, who they say fatally stabbed her grandma and wounded another relative.

FORT WASHINGTON, MD — Police are searching for 28-year-old Breante Thomas, who is wanted in connection to the death of her 81-year-old grandmother, Helen Thomas.
Thomas was found dead inside her Fort Washington home Sept. 14 around 1:50 p.m. when Prince George's police officers were asked to conduct a welfare check. The home is located in the 500 block of Bonhill Drive. Officers found Thomas inside the home with stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect also stabbed a second family member, a man, who is listed in critical but stable condition.

The suspect was seen leaving her grandmother's house in a white 2012 Volkswagen Passat with Maryland tags 3FF3906. Anyone who has information on Thomas’ whereabouts is asked to call 911 and not to approach her. She has been charged with first- and second-degree murder, attempted first- and second-degree murder, and related charges.
