4 Teens Killed in 2-Car Wreck on Kent Island
A wreck in Chester killed four and injured one late Wednesday afternoon.

A tragic wreck on Wednesday afternoon in the Kent Island community of Chester killed four teens and injured one man.
According to the Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Department, the four male victims were: Cory Passagno, 18, of Chester; Michael John Ringenbach, 18, of Stevensville; Harrison Rhodes Smith, 18, of Chester; and Tyler Elzey, of Chester.
Eli Dibach, 73, the driver of the second vehicle, was injured in the wreck. According to WBAL-TV, Dibach is a professor at the Naval Academy in Annapolis.

The Capital's former editor Tom Marquardt said he witnessed the wreck occur as the teen's car veered into oncoming traffic.Â
The Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Facebook page offered condolences to the deceased.

"The Sheriff’s Office would like to offer their condolences and prayers to the family and friends of the four young men killed today. Our thoughts and prayers also go out to the other driver, his family and to the Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department for their loss as we understand their pain," a sheriff's representative wrote on Facebook.
One of the teens who died, Elzey, was a member of the volunteer fire department that responded to the incident.
"Tragedies such as this deeply affect first responders both fire and police," the representative wrote.
