All Anne Arundel County Public Schools will open on time for students and staff on Thursday, with the exception of the following seven schools which will be closed because of ongoing power outages:
Arlington Echo
Crofton Woods Elementary
Glen Burnie Park Elementary
Marley Glen Special School
Maryland City Elementary
Overlook Elementary
Solley Elementary
Essential and emergency personnel at the schools that are closed should report to their work locations as required.
Parents whose children are going to school are likely to continue to encounter issues related to traffic light outages, bus delays, and traffic backups tomorrow morning, and are urged to exercise extreme caution and allow additional time to transport their children to bus stops or to school.
Parents of prekindergarten and kindergarten students whose schools are open tomorrow should call the school in advance of arrival time to check the schedule status for the child.
