From the Anne Arundel County Dept. of Recreation and Parks:
In an effort to prepare for pending hurricane Irene and protect our staff and citizens, we have put the following schedule in place for the Recreation and Parks fields and facilities:
Saturday, August 27
All sports are canceled and athletic fields and athletic facilities are closed.
All parks and facilities will close to the public at 2 p.m.
All citizens with scheduled facility/pavilion rentals, please contact the facility/park to reschedule or to receive a refund (may use until 2 p.m.).
Sunday, August 28
All fields, parks and facilities will be closed.
Monday, August 29
All fields, parks and facilities will be closed.
School Age Child Care notices will be listed here: (http://www.aacounty.org/RecParks/childcare/index.cfm).
Cancellations, closures and updates will be posted on the Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks website http://www.aacounty.org/RecParks/cancellation.cfm
