
The Anne Arundel County Department of Health has ordered an emergency closing and warns against direct water contact at Mill Creek in Arnold due to a wastewater overflow of approximately 263,000 gallons.
The spillΒ occurred late yesterday evening and was caused by a power outage. Β Β
The Department of Health warns anyone coming in contact with the affected water to wash well with soap and warm, clean water immediately. Clothing should also be washed.Β

The creek will remain closed until further notice from the Department of Health.Β
