St. Margaret's Hosting Bluegrass Mass

St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church will be hosting a "Bluegrass Mass" featuring the Third Sunday Band on Sunday, June 5, at 11:15 a.m.Β The community is invited to grab a blanket or lawn chair and join church members on the lawn and under the trees for the annual event.

Third Sunday Band provides Β unique arrangements of popular contemporary christian songs and traditional hymns as well as an extensive collection of originalΒ music. Their music features acoustic and electric guitar, keyboard, harmonica, mandolin, flute, and percussion along withΒ four part harmony in a blend of folk, rock, country, reggae,Β jazz,Β and blues styles.

Members of the Third Sunday Band will be joined by fiddler Sue Tice, banjo-picker extraordinaire Keith Ameson, and George β€œDusty” MacMillon on harmonica for this great opportunity to worship in old time revival style.Β
