Back To School, Back To Simon: Shoppers invited to “Find Your Style” at Simon this fall
TV, digital and social campaign will celebrate fashion nostalgia while highlighting new seasonal trends

Simon’s Washington DC-area centers, Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, Hagerstown Premium Outlets, Leesburg Corner Premium Outlets, Queenstown Premium Outlets and St. Charles Towne Center, today kicked off their 2016 Back To School season with a TV commercial and digital video campaign (bit.ly/Simonbacktoschool), encouraging shoppers to ‘find your style’ while reflecting on their past first days of school and the outfits that were the height of fashion in the 80s and 90s.
The campaign will be amplified through social media using the hashtag #tbtbts (Throw Back Thursday Back To Simon), inviting people to share their most memorable back-to-school photos for a chance to win Simon gift cards and $5,000 shopping spree.
A campaign at Simon centers, targeted at teens, will feature three seasonal trends inspired by 80s and 90s fashions - Off-Beat, Modern Utility and 90’s Nostalgia - that can all be found at Simon:

· Off-Beat: Hit the right note in an unexpected mix inspired by the music scene. Cheeky slogans, bold graphic patterns and bright colors turn up the volume on sweaters, souvenir jackets and sports gear.
· Modern Utility: Olive and khaki are the new neutrals this fall. Get to know these fashion basics and outerwear accented with punky patches and feminine touches.

· 90s Nostalgia: Fall back to the 90s this season with must-haves circa 1994. Get ready to rock inspired plaids and flannels, high-rise jeans, denim-on-denim and combat boots.
“Back to school shoppers spend more during this season than they doing during Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day combined, so we want to make sure the experience is a pleasurable one that appeals to students and parents alike,” said Lauren Monroe, director of marketing and business development at St. Charles Towne Center. “Our campaign celebrates the fashion trends of the past and today – the evolution of fashion and mixing the old with the new to ‘Find Your Style’”.
