BHS Softball Star Named Athlete of the Week

A Broadneck High School Bruins softball star was named the athlete of the week by The Baltimore Sun this week.

Kristina Dillard, a senior at BHS and the star shortstop for the Lady Bruins, helped the team land three consecutive wins the week of April 5.

According to The Baltimore Sun, Dillard has tentatively agreed to attend the University of Louisville in the fall and play for the Cardinals as a catcher. 

Dillard and several of her peers will formally be recognized by high school officials for their commitment to play their sports in college on Thursday, April 18.
