Credit Score: Anne Arundel Cities Rank in the Middle of Report

Rankings by WalletHub puts average credit scores in Anne Arundel cities mostly behind Montgomery County.

ANNAPOLIS, MD β€” You wouldn’t sit around comparing your credit score with your neighbors, but it’s interesting to see how Anne Arundel County’s cities ranks among other cities within the state.

The number crunchers at WalletHub have compared the average credit scores in 2,570 U.S. cities. The results put Annapolis, Crofton, Severna Park and others in the top half of the list.

Nearby cities included Crofton at No. 511 with a credit score of 702.33; Edgewater at 717, with a credit score of 693.21; Annapolis at No. 856, with a credit score of 687.65; Odenton at No. 975 with a score of 683.73; Pasadena at No. 1,044 with a score of 681.23

The average credit scores for each city are from September 2015, based on TransUnion data. β€œCity” refers to city proper and excludes surrounding metro areas.
