Ensemble Galilei returns to St. Margaret's on the 25th anniversary of their first concert

Ensemble Galilei will perform at St. Margaret’s Church of Annapolis on Friday, Oct. 30, at 7:30pm. Tickets are $20 at the door or $21 dollars by credit card on the church’s website at
www.st-margarets.org. The church is located at 1601 Pleasant Plains Road on the Broadneck peninsula.
Founded in 1990, Ensemble Galilei is an ensemble of players from both classical and Celtic backgrounds, playing Irish and Scottish airs and dance tunes, early and medieval music, and original compositions. The Ensemble takes their name and inspiration from the life of composer Vincenzo Galilei, whose influence, some four hundred years ago, helped restore a vital element of passion to the music of the day. This concert marks the 25th anniversary of the group’s first performance at St. Margaret’s.
