Where/When: Broadneck Library, Sat., 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Why Go: Broadneck Star Wars fans are preparing for a visit from the 501st Legion of Old Line Garrison, the premier Star Wars costuming group in the world. The organization spans all fifty state and over 21 countries worldwide and makes many appearances at conventions and charity events through the Maryland and Washington, DC, area. The Force will be storming into the library, talking with fans, performing scenes from the beloved films, and providing special photo opportunities with fans of all ages. All residents are welcome to come in costume with camera in hand.

Where/When: Thurs., Feb 10 and Sat., Feb. 12; 8 p.m., Chesapeake Academy's Black Box Theatre
Why Go: Standing O Productions is presenting the American premiere of of Terrence Rattigan's “After the Dance” first written in 1939 and now hailed by critics as the definitive play of British restraint. For a preview of the show, check Broadneck Patch tomorrow.
Pricing: Tickets are $18 for adults and $15 for seniors, students, teachers and members of the military.
3) David Haas and Lori True in Concert
Where/When: Fri., 7:30 p.m., St. Andrew by the Bay Catholic Church
Why Go: Renowned Catholic liturgical composers David Haas (“You are Mine” and “We Are Called”) and Lori True (who has performed on many of Haas's recordings and has an ever expanding repertoire of original songs) will perform in concert as part of the church’s Ministry Renewal Day on Saturday morning.
Pricing: Free.
4) Live Music at Griffin’s Grill Arnold
Where/When: Fri., The Shore Thing at 8:30 p.m.; Sat., Sparks, Raymond & McCoy at 8 p.m.
Why Go: On Friday night, The Shore Thing is scheduled to perform the best selection of classic rock, Buffet, blues, R&B, country and more. On Saturday, Sparks, Raymond & McCoy will be playing an acoustic mix of rock and folk music for young and old.
Pricing: Free.
Where/When: Sat., Broadneck High School, basketball games played at 8 (JV Boys) and 9:30 a.m. (JV Girls) and noon (Varsity Girls) and 1:45 p.m. (Varsity Boys).
Why Go: It is always fun to view these games between the Bruins and our rival Falcons while supporting a good cause. All proceeds will go towards the Annapolis Wellness House supporting those living with cancer.
Pricing: Admission is $5.
