The Sound of Music from the Annapolis Chorale
Where/When: Saturday, 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, Annapolis
Why Go: If your family loves this treasured musical favorite, then you will enjoy hearing the Annapolis Chorale and the Annapolis Chamber Orchestra perform the songs from Rodgers & Hammerstein’s most popular musical.
Pricing: $34 adult; $12 children.
Living Our History: An Afternoon of Stories
Where/When: Saturday, 2 – 3:30 p.m., Banneker-Douglass Museum, Annapolis.
Why Go: Celebrate Black History Month and learn about historical African American women during the Civil War through family friendly dramatic performances by historic re-enactors. For all ages, but registration is recommended. To register, email BDMPrograms@goci.state.md.us or call 410-216-6180.

Why Go: Balanced Life Skills Martial Arts of Annapolis will be hosting a "Book and Toy Swap" at their studio. Participants can bring books and toys the family no longer uses, and take books and toys your family is interested in - for free. All unclaimed items will be donated to charity.

“The Song of Mulan” by Theatre IV
Where/When: Sunday, 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., Smith Theatre, Howard County Community College
Why Go: Vibrant costumes, authentic props, and captivating songs are promised in this cherished Chinese folktale presentation by Theatre IV. The story features Mulan, who disguises herself as a male soldier to protect her father and serve her country.
