Grab and Go Kids Planner for Feb. 18-19
Pack up the kids and head out to these family friendly activities on the weekend.
Where/When: Friday, Feb.18, 6 p.m., Asbury United Methodist Church, 78 Church Road, Arnold.
Why Go: Families are encouraged to bring a dish and travel to the church for an old-fashioned potluck dinner. Afterwards, bring a sleeping bag and chairs for a viewing of a family favorite, “Toy Story: 3.”

Magician Joe Romano at Chesapeake Arts Center
Where/When: Sat., Feb. 19, 4 – 5 p.m., Chesapeake Arts Center, Brooklyn Park.
Why Go: Witness breathtaking feats of magic using characters and plotlines from Harry Potter, Dr. Seuss, How to Eat Fried Worms, and more.
Price: $10 adults, $5 children.
Broadneck Evangelical Presbyterian All Skate
Where/When: Saturday, Feb. 19, 4 p.m. at the Naval Station Skating Rink, 64 Greenbury Point Road, Annapolis, MD 21402-1108 (Mc Mullen Hockey Arena).
Why Go: BEP encourages families to meet at the US Naval Station Ice Rink for family fun!
Price: $7 for session, $3 for skate rental. Skate session is 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Where/When: Smithsonian Environmental Research Center in Edgewater, Sat., Feb. 19, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Why Go: Families can learn all about these awesome predators and look at their amazing adaptations, fossil shark teeth, and more. Pre-registration is required. Call 443-482-2300; limited to 18 people.
