Hot: Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Coming Back

The doughnut chain will open Anne Arundel County's first store, after closing up shop six years ago, in Gambrills.

After a six-year absence of hot, glazed goodness, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts has signed a lease to open a store in Anne Arundel County.

The chain plans to open a 3,731-square-foot shop by the end of the year at Crofton Station in Gambrills, Greg Ferrante, a senior vice president at JLL, told the Baltimore Business Journal.

The location at intersection of Route 3 and Davidsonville Road will be the first Krispy Kreme shop since the chain closed a Glen Burnie store in 2009, reports the Capital-Gazette. The company at one time had seven locations in the county.
