Middle Eastern American Women Conference Sunday at AACC
The program will tackle various subjects from the perspective of women who have lived in America and the Middle East.

A free seminar focusing on the perception of Middle Eastern American Women will be hosted at Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) this weekend.
The program, operated by the Governor's Commission on Middle Eastern American Affairs, will run from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Kauffman Theatre at AACC's Arnold campus.
The program will tackle various subjects from the perspective of women who have lived in America and the Middle East.

"The event will feature Middle Eastern artwork, henna demonstrations, ethnic food, dancing, demonstrations of hair covering techniques, and a panel of speakers representing the Middle Eastern American women’s experience through three faiths: Christian, Muslim and Jewish," according to a press release from the governor's office.
