AACC Women's LAX Are Conference Champs
AACC's women had a perfect streak of seven wins through the regional tournament, capping their final home game with a 20-7 victory.
In their moment of glory on Thursday night, the women's lacrosse team at Anne Arundel Community College kept things light—gathering around a camera to make goofy faces in the lockerroom.
The team had much to celebrate after its 20-7 victory over Howard Community College. The Pioneers swept the Maryland Junior College tournament with a perfect record of seven straight wins.
Some of the team's brightest stars include: Meghenn Jackson, who is currently ranked top in goals scored (42), assists (26) and total points (68); Kayla Hertz is second in total points (41); and Shannon O'Neal is fourth in total points (37). Goalkeeper Brittani Biddinger is third in the nation in goals allowed per game (8.44), according toAACC
