Viewfinder: The Magic is Real at Broadneck Library
Magician Joe Romano brings the love of books alive in a special summer library program.
From “The Cat in the Hat” to “Harry Potter,” literary characters came to life at the last week during a visit from magician Joe Ramano.
His program titled “Books! The Magic is Real!” featured dynamic music and dazzling illusions, all connected to children’s literature. His magic tricks used characters and plot lines from Harry Potter, Diary of a Wimpy Kid and more favorite books of the local kids who packed the library’s meeting room.
The program was a part of the Summer Reading Program offered by the Anne Arundel County Public Library.
