- Last week against Arundel, he scored 31 points and outscored Arundel all by himself in the second quarter.
- According to MaxPreps, in Division 4A state basketball, Darnell is 4th in scoring (16.2), first in blocking (2.6), first in rebounds (11.7), and fourth in steals (2.5).
- Named All Met by Washington Post
- Boys Athlete of the Week by Baltimore Sun for football in Nov. 2010
- Boys Athlete of the Week by The Capital for basketball in Dec. 2010
- Named to Anne Arundel Co. Coaches 2010 Football Squad
