  1. Yesterday Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski submitted a $4.8 billion budget proposal for Fiscal Year 2023. Olszewski said, "This budget represents the needs and priorities of our increasingly diverse County. As we work to fulfill the promise of our county, we will continue building a culture centered on equity, sustainability, and open, responsive government that endures for years to come." The budget proposes $15 million in Fire Department improvements, including a new Catonsville Fire Station. And for the fourth year in a row, there is a proposed freeze on in-County tuition at the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC). (Nottinghammd)
  2. Jimmy Sentz, from Catonsville, scored two goals on Wednesday afternoon for the Westminster men's lacrosse team. The team lost to Saint Vincent in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game, with a score of 14 to 9. (Westminster College Network)
