$50K Powerball Win Claimed By Catonsville Man

Just a few days after his birthday, a Catonsville man won $50,000 playing the lottery.

CATONSVILLE, MD — A 42-year-old Catonsville man celebrated his birthday in a big way by winning $50,000 playing the Powerball. The Baltimore County man bought one draw just five hours before the July 10 drawing, according to the Maryland Lottery. His ticket matched four of the five Powerball numbers along with the Powerball number.

The lucky lottery player bought the ticket at Ingleside Food Mart in Catonsville a few days after his birthday and couldn't believe what happened. He is one of 32 Marylanders who have won $50,000 third-tier prizes in 2021.
