1. Maryland lottery players won big this past week — amounting to 51 winnings tickets that were redeemed or sold. A $50,000 winning ticket for the Cash Money game was sold at the Route 40 Sunoco on Baltimore Pike in Catonsville. 2. The parking shortage for truckers in the United States led one driver to park his rig at a Catonsville funeral home. The driver told the director of the Candle Light Funeral Home that he would only be parked for a few minutes until he picked up a load from another truck that was on its way. Director Craig Witzke said, "My parking lot’s not even a year old. If it’s going to get damaged, I’d like it to be damaged by people patronizing my business." (Transport Dive)
