BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Meet Patch's Adorable Adoptable Pets of the Week available from Baltimore County Animal Services.

Cornpop's owner couldn't care for him any longer, so the 5-year-old pitbull found himself at the shelter. He's part of the Pet 'Paw-tection' Program and everyone loves him. He prefers to curl up and cuddle with humans. He seems to do with other dogs at the shelter, so if you have a pupper at home, bring him or her in to meet Cornpop.

Steel was found tied to a tree with a bag of food next to him. Shelter staff believe he's a shepherd/heeler mix and can get a bit jumpy when excited. He takes a bit of time to warm up to people and will need a patient new owner. He'd benefit from a home where there's another dog to learn social skills.

Runt is a bit skittish, so he needs a patient new owner. He's been quite sad since arriving at the shelter, but once he warms up to someone, he's a big baby and loves affection. Because he arrived as a stray, it's unknown how he'll do with other animals.

Sylvester's adoption fee has been waived as he's FeLV+ and needs to be around other FeLV+ kitties or be the only cat in the home. He's very sweet and outgoing and loves everyone he meets.
