Here are the top three stories today in Catonsville:

  1. On Mar. 10, 21-year-old Daqwan Sterling was arrested and charged with the homicide of 19-year-old Zaire Drake-Cummings by the Baltimore County police. Zaire was shot and pronounced deceased at the scene on Mar. 9 in the 3600 block of North Rolling Road. Sterling is being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.   2. Mame Thiam and Leian Wright, both students at Western Tech in Catonsville, made the top six at the MPSSAA state wrestling tournament. Mame won third place and Leian won sixth place in the girls' competition. (Baltimore Sun)
  3. On Mar. 10, the Westminster men's lacrosse team, the Titans, defeated Adrian 10 to 9 in a non-conference contest. Sophomore Jimmy Sentz of Catonsville scored a goal and had an assist, which helped the Titans win the close game. (WCN (Westminster College Network))
