- Catonsville residents can expect a very cold holiday weekend. According to meteorologists, temperatures are expected to drop between 10-16 degrees over the weekend, with an additional cold wind chill. It's likely that temperatures will not reach above freezing all weekend, and precipitation is possible. (The Baltimore Banner)
- The State of the Schools 2023 has been set for Mar. 22. The event will be held at Towson University, where Dr. Williams of Baltimore County Public Schools will discuss his future plans for the school. Student achievements and successes will be celebrated at the event. (BCPS)
- Two separate crashes happened in Baltimore County. One accident occurred on Cromwell Bridge Road at Satyr Hill Road and caused the bridge to close. The other collision involved a tractor-trailer that blocked Glen Arm Road at Manor Road. The Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company responded to both and reported no injuries. (WMAR2 News)

- The Baltimore County Government has announced office closures in advance of the holiday. The County offices will be closed on Friday, Dec. 23, and Monday, Dec. 26. Offices will reopen on Tuesday. (Baltimore County MD)
- Don't miss Family and Friends Story Time at the Baltimore County Public Library! The event is most appropriate for children ages 3-5. Anyone under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Storytime starts at 10:00 a.m. at the Catonsville Branch. (BCPL)
- This show is worth the quick drive to Baltimore! A new adaptation of A Christmas Carol by Laura Rocklyn, from the Story by Charles Dickens, will only premier for two more nights. A delight for all ages, this is a giddy, warm-hearted, and fast-paced trip back to 19th-century Baltimore and Charles Dickens's classic story.
