  1. Hasan M. "Jay" Jalisi, an outgoing Baltimore County delegate, is facing charges of fraud, unjust enrichment, and breach of contract in a real estate deal. Jalisi's eight years representing the Randallstown-Reisterstown 10th District ended yesterday, Jan. 11. The lawsuit accuses Jalisi with "negligently or intentionally" issuing the incorrect account number for a deed of trust, which forced Sage Title Group to pay more than $53,000. Sage Title Group is seeking more than $75,000 in damages. (Baltimore Brew)
  2. Officials confirmed a pedestrian was struck and killed by an Maryland Transit Authorit light rail train in Baltimore County on the evening of Jan. 10. According to the Maryland Transit Authority, the person was struck along the track north of the Timonium Business Park stop. The accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. (CBS Baltimore)
  3. Baltimore County Schools Superintendent Darryl L. Williams presented the proposed $2.13 billion operating budget for the fiscal year 2024. The fund would go toward salary packages, targeted student support and transportation, and other items. This school year is the last full fiscal year that federal pandemic aid will be available. They were last seen at 1:00 a.m. on Jan. 11 near BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). Nelson is 5 feet 6 inches, 160 pounds, and wearing a black jacket with white pajama bottoms. Perry is 5 feet tall, 100 pounds, and wearing a black shirt with black Adidas pants. Anyone with information is requested to call 911 or (410) 307-2020. (Catonsville via Facebook)
